Visas for Individuals with Japanese Ancestry

If you are a person of Japanese ancestry up to the third generation, or the spouse of a person with Japanese ancestry (second or third generation), you may be eligible for a "Long-Term Resident" visa. This visa does not impose restrictions on work activities.

In such cases, the family register of your Japanese ancestor must be reviewed and verified in order to obtain the visa.
